Instructions

Step 1

Receive dividends from stocks. In this case, it all depends on whether the ordinary or preferred shares are in your hands. In the first case, interest on the company's profits may not be accrued, since the owners of the company at the meeting have the right to vote for the direction of income for the development of the company. However, it is possible to organize a meeting of shareholders that will influence the decision on the payment of dividends. If you are the owner of preferred shares, then interest is calculated on a mandatory basis from the reserve capital, but at the same time you undertake not to participate in the management of the enterprise.

Step 2

Lease non-personalized shares to an investment or trust company. As a rule, the lease term is set for at least a year, and its cost is 50% of the amount of the par value of the securities. In this case, it is necessary to draw up a lease agreement for shares, which spells out all the conditions, including the granting of the right to vote to a third party.

Step 3

Sell your shares. To do this, you can either find a buyer through advertisements or participate in trading on the stock exchange. Advertisements for the sale and purchase of shares can be found on the Internet, in the newspaper or on the notice board of the company whose securities you hold. This method is suitable for those who own sufficiently valuable shares. Otherwise, the exchange is the more profitable option. At the same time, profit can be obtained only if the share is liquid, for which frequent purchase and sale operations are carried out.

Step 4

Use stocks as collateral to get a loan or pay for goods. It should be borne in mind that shares are not considered sufficiently liquid property in credit institutions, therefore their appraised value is very low. In this regard, there are few banks that decide to arrange such a loan.
