It happens that the opportunity to go to rest on a voucher is thwarted for good reasons. In this case, its owner can receive compensation, depending on what kind of voucher was intended for him: sanatorium, tourist or children's.
Compensation for a spa stay
Treatment in a sanatorium is not cheap, but if you have the necessary documents, part of the costs that were spent on treatment can be reimbursed. The Tax Code of the Russian Federation reserves for the taxpayer the right to receive a tax social deduction for treatment provided by a medical institution. The list of medical services provided, which are included in the tax deduction, is considered in the Decree of the Government of Russia.
To receive a deduction, you must come to the tax office with the following documents: an application for monetary compensation, a tax return on income for the past year, copies of the treatment agreement and a copy of the license of the medical institution. You also need to take with you a certificate from the accounting department about the amount of income at the place of work, a certificate of payment for medical services, payment and personal documents. A copy of the sanatorium's license can be obtained from the organization that sold the voucher. Certificates confirming payment for services and treatment are issued by all health care institutions that have the necessary permission to conduct their activities. It is better to get them during your stay at the sanatorium. After an appropriate audit, the tax authority will make a decision, if it is positive, the funds will be transferred to the taxpayer's account.
Travel compensation
If, for certain reasons, which are spelled out in the law on the tourist activity of the Russian Federation, the tourist refuses the voucher, he may demand to reimburse the cost of the tour operator. The amount that was spent by the tour operator for organizing the trip is non-refundable, but all this should be documented. The airfare must be refunded, even if the employee of the firm says otherwise. If the reason for the refusal of the voucher is a threat to the safety of the tourist in the country where it was planned to go, the full cost of the voucher will be refunded. If the tour operator is stalling with the payment of compensation, it is important to remember that each day of delay provides for the accrual of a penalty in the amount of three percent of the total cost of the tour.
Compensation for a child's trip
In order to receive compensation for a ticket to a children's health camp, you should contact the department of education at your place of residence. It is important to collect and submit the following documents: an application for payment of compensation, documents confirming the payment of a voucher, a parent's passport, a child's birth or adoption certificate, his passport if he is 14 years old. It is also necessary to provide a return ticket of the voucher, which confirms his stay in the camp. It must indicate the initials of the child in full, the cost of the voucher and the length of stay. It is necessary to submit both certified copies of these documents and their originals.
