A business trip is calculated based on the average daily earnings for the billing period. The settlement period should be considered 12 months of each year, unless otherwise provided by the legal acts of the organization. Another time for calculating average earnings can be set if this does not infringe upon the rights of employees. To calculate the average earnings, one should be guided by article No. 139 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation or the letter of the Ministry of Labor No. 38.

Instructions

Step 1

The amount of average daily earnings can be calculated using a computer program. To do this, you must enter all data on earnings and working hours. You will receive the result for calculating the payment for the business trip.

Step 2

You need to manually calculate all the earnings received for 12 months. Bonuses can be considered if they are paid regularly and their payment is specified in legal acts. One-time bonuses and remuneration are not included in the calculation of total earnings, as are the amounts paid for social benefits, material assistance and other social benefits. The result must be divided by the number of hours worked per year. You will get the average hourly rate for calculating the payment for a business trip.

Step 3

If you need to calculate the average daily rate for paying for a business trip, you should add up all earnings for 12 months and divide by the number of working days in a year. The result will be the number of payment for one day of the employee's business trip.

Step 4

If other regulations are established in the organization, in order to calculate the average earnings, it is necessary to add up all the amounts of earnings for the specified billing period and divide by the number of working days in the billing period. The result will be payment for one day of business trip. If you divide by the number of working hours in the billing period, you get payment for one hour of business trip.

Step 5

The average daily amount should be multiplied by the number of business trip days, add the premium, the regional coefficient and subtract the income tax. The resulting number will be the payment for the business trip.
