It all looks like one huge misunderstanding. After all, these actions by the United States are practically meaningless. The "oligarch" himself does not give any explanation on this matter, taking a position of silence. And what can I say here? Before these unpleasant events in America, Vekselberg was doing fine.
Before the sanctions, Renova had an investment fund called Columbus Nova, with assets of $ 15 billion. But this is the commercial side of the issue. In addition, Viktor Vekselberg is closely "tied" with America in scientific, educational and cultural projects. An important factor is the fact that he has many relatives there. That's when it's especially offensive. Due to family ties with the Russian "oligarch", the brothers are now forced to pay more attention to deals with him. Most likely, they will completely refuse to cooperate with Vekselberg, so as not to cast a shadow on the company's reputation.
