Pension insurance card is a document issued to the insured person and confirming his registration in the pension insurance system of the Russian Federation. If the insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance is lost, a duplicate of the insurance certificate is restored, which has the same number, which can be found in the accounting department of the current or past employer, or in letters that the pension fund sends every year. If the card is lost, a citizen can independently obtain a duplicate, or the employer is engaged in obtaining a duplicate.
Instructions
Step 1
An insured person who works under an employment contract or has a civil law contract must submit an application for its restoration to the policyholder one month in advance from the day the certificate is lost. Further, this statement and a document confirming the insurance number of the personal individual account is transferred by the insured to the Pension Fund.
Step 2
An individual who independently pays insurance premiums must submit an application for its restoration to the Pension Fund at the place of registration one month before the pension card is lost.
Step 3
An insured person who does not work under an employment contract or does not have a civil law contract must submit an application for its restoration to the Pension Fund at the place of residence within a month from the date of loss of the pension insurance card.
Step 4
Within one month from the date of submission of the insured person's application for the loss of the pension card, the Pension Fund authority issues a duplicate of the insurance pension certificate, for which the insured person must provide information that can confirm his identity and information from his personal account.
Step 5
An employer does not have the right to employ a natural person who does not have a compulsory pension insurance card. In the event that the employer nevertheless hires such a person, he must contact the appropriate body of the Pension Fund within two weeks. Otherwise, the employer's company will be called to account and will pay a fine, the amount of which is established in accordance with the current legislation.
