According to the reports on the income of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and their family members for 2017 posted on the department's website, the head of the Main Directorate for the Stavropol Territory, Alexander Ivanitsky, earned more than 2.5 billion rubles for the specified period. Interestingly, in 2016, the billionaire rescuer declared income 782 times less, i.e. only 3, 3 million rubles.
The sources of the income received by Ivanitsky are not disclosed in the provided document. The second place in terms of income for 2017 among employees of the ministry was taken by Sergey Shakhov, head of the department for the Republic of Crimea. During this period, he earned 34, 7 million rubles. A year earlier, he declared the amount 16 times less.
