When working with suppliers and buyers, managers are forced to conclude supply contracts. Firstly, tax legislation obliges organizations to conclude legal documents, and secondly, by drawing up an agreement, you fix all the conditions, rights and obligations. The document is drawn up for a certain period, but it can be extended.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, carefully read the previously concluded supply agreement. If it contains a condition for automatic renewal, you do not need to draw up anything, since this term means automatic renewal of the current contract. This condition comes into force if the organizations have not announced the termination of the legal document within one month.
Step 2
To protect your organization, make a statement that the contract is renewed in accordance with the relevant clause (indicate the one that indicates the renewal condition). This document must be marked with consent by the supplier (buyer). Podkolite statement to the main supply contract.
Step 3
If there is no automatic renewal clause, conclude an additional agreement to the supply agreement. Here indicate the number of the legal document, the date of preparation. The first paragraph can be made identical to the beginning of the contract, just insert the phrase "We have concluded an additional agreement to the supply contract …".
Step 4
In the additional agreement, indicate the new term of the contract, write that all conditions, except for the one in which the term is indicated, remain the same. Draw up a document in duplicate, give one of which to your counterparty, and keep the other with you. Be sure to sign and affix the blue seal of the organization. Sew an additional agreement to the main supply contract.
Step 5
Remember that you can extend the supply contract with an additional agreement for an indefinite period. If there is an extension in it, it can be extended several times for the period specified in the document. To avoid problems with the tax office after one renewal, draw up a new legal document.
