Step 1
The seal is the property of the organization, therefore, a legal entity, as well as an individual entrepreneur, can own the seal. In the Civil Code of the Russian Federation there are no requirements for the seal of the enterprise, and in principle there is no requirement to have a seal, since the law cannot oblige to have this or that property. The presence of a seal in a legal entity is most likely an established custom of business turnover, rather than a legal requirement.

Considering that the seal is owned by a legal entity, it should at least be created and registered in the manner prescribed by law. Specialty shops are engaged in the manufacture of stamps, which, in most cases, sell office supplies. Licensing of the production of seals is not required, but it is possible to voluntarily obtain a certificate of quality, with the exception of the production of official seals.
Step 3
To make a seal, it is necessary to provide copies of documents, such as: the charter, a certificate of state registration of a legal entity, a certificate of registration with a tax authority, a protocol or decision on the appointment of the head of an organization, a fresh extract from the unified state register of legal entities, an application for making a seal, a sample of the production of a seal, if the seal is ordered by a representative, then a power of attorney and an identity document. The cost of printing depends on the tooling and manufacturing complexity.

An organization can have both a primary and an additional seal. Additional printing can be used, for example, in a remote office. For the manufacture of an additional seal, exactly the same list of documents is required as for the manufacture of the main seal. The additional seal may differ from the main seal, you can indicate that the seal is for accounting documents or add a sign to the sample that separates the additional seal from the main one.
Step 5
If an enterprise is liquidated, then the seal of the organization is subject to mandatory destruction, as a rule, the enterprises that produce seals are engaged in the destruction of seals. After the destruction of the seal, a document confirming the destruction of the seal is issued to the liquidator. An organization carrying out activities for the manufacture and destruction of seals is obliged to keep accounting journals, in which information on customers and samples of manufactured or destroyed seals are entered.
