Banks are developing rapidly, and the number of money transfers is also growing. These procedures can be carried out from a current account to a card or vice versa, from an account to other accounts. Along with this, the number of erroneous payments is also growing. How, in this case, to return the funds transferred by mistake?

Instructions

Step 1

Call the bank's customer support service. It's not worth delaying with this, therefore, as soon as you find an error, immediately call the bank. At the same time, if you yourself (the sender) made a mistake when transferring funds from one payment card to another, then you will need to write an application to the bank to return the amount of erroneously debited funds, and then wait for the results of its verification. You need to act as quickly as possible, because the return of erroneously transferred funds can be carried out by the bank only until they are received on the recipient's account. After all, having entered the card account of an unknown recipient, the funds will automatically belong to him. That is why, already without the consent of the owner of the card account, the money cannot be debited.

Step 2

Please note that if the transfer has already been credited to the recipient's current account, and he voluntarily does not want to return it upon a call from the bank, then the bank will offer you to independently resolve the issue of returning the erroneously transferred funds. In this case, you should go to court. This is a fairly lengthy process, but you can get your own money back. In this case, there is simply no other way to return funds, because the bank itself does not have the right to provide any information about its customers. That is why you will not be able to find the recipient of your erroneously transferred funds yourself.

Step 3

In turn, if a disputable operation took place and the transfer was credited to an account not specified by the sender, then this will be considered a technical error of the bank. In this case, you will also need to write a statement for the return of the erroneously transferred funds. After completing a check on this client's application, the bank will make a "correction posting" and, thus, return the money to the sender or credit it to its destination.
