Step 1
Get the status of a lawyer. To do this, graduate from a higher educational institution with a degree in jurisprudence. Then work in the specified area for at least two years. An alternative may be to undergo an internship during or after studying at a law office or legal consultation. After that, you will be able to apply to the bar for registration of the status of a lawyer.
Step 2
Contact your local bar association. You can find its address on the website of the Federal Chamber of the Russian Federation. Submit your application and take the exam to validate your legal knowledge. Questions for this stage of qualification control can be found on the website of your regional bar association. After that, you will be able to obtain the status of a lawyer and an official document about this - a certificate. On its basis, a person can practice law both privately and in an organization.
Step 3
Contact the Chamber of Lawyers to create your own office. To do this, send there a certified letter with information about yourself. Indicate your last name, first name and patronymic and the address where you intend to conduct consultations. After approving your application and registering an account, open a bank account and start your seal. You will interact with various organizations as an individual entrepreneur, since the lawyer's office does not provide for the creation of a legal entity.
Step 4
Maintain regular contact with the bar association in your area. You will need to send them part of the reporting documentation, so register each client's request for advice with the appropriate agreement.
Step 5
Check with the chamber of lawyers in your place of residence the amount of deductions that you will have to pay there monthly for the work of the created office.
