Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a concept in which various structures in the state take into account the interests of people in their actions. On the basis of what principles does such responsibility work and how will they help a person?
Multilevel system
The CSR system consists of 3 levels with their own nuances. If at least one level drops out of the system, the whole meaning of social responsibility is lost:
- It is formed due to the idea of society about moral values and morals in general. That is, the first level is the moral obligations of structures to a person.
- The second level is responsibility with certain norms. Since the elements of the system are objects of external control, they require openness, honesty and transparency in any actions and actions.
- The last level is focused on the production of values for a person in the course of the interaction of persons interested in the case. That there is the ethical part is the core.
Basic models
CSR models use certain directions, and the most popular are the following:
- Social. Today there are local communities where attention is paid to social problems. For greater stability and visibility of the system, it is necessary to observe cooperation in several areas at the same time. A striking example is donation, recreation areas, social investment, etc.
- Educational. Support of educational system programs, from teaching simple things to subtle technical research, is one of the most important and paramount areas of CSR on the territory of the Russian Federation.
- Environmental. Without a doubt, the development of CSR also affects the characteristics of the environment. Everywhere, all over the country and the world, one can observe a minimal negative impact on nature, and in most places there is still a search for the maximum preservation of the natural balance of nature. Projects in this direction take into account the careful use of natural resources, the optimal disposal of existing waste, as well as the development of a positive attitude towards nature within society.
Principles
The main principles of CSR include:
- Transparency. It manifests itself in a competent, simple and understandable for people management of various social problems. Any information data should be publicly available (if they are not confidential). It is unacceptable to conduct CSR with falsification or with concealment of facts.
- Consistency. It is expressed in the presence of several main directions and branches from them. That is, large directorates take over the current and subsequent activities.
- Relevance. This principle allows you to weed out problems and deal only with those who need help right now. CSR should reach a large number of citizens and be visible to people.
- Peaceful activities. The exclusion of any conflicts and discrimination on any grounds is one of the guarantees for making effective decisions in relation to significant problems.
