Instructions

Step 1

Citizens who are looking for a job for the first time, as well as who applied to the Employment Center after a long break after the end of their work activity (more than 1 year) or who were dismissed from their place of work for violations of an employment contract, have the right to receive the minimum part of benefits. Since 2009, its size has been 850 rubles per month. It is issued within six months. Currently, its amount remains unchanged.

Step 2

Another part of persons eligible for benefits are people who were dismissed of their own free will or for a number of different reasons (liquidation of an enterprise, etc.)

Step 3

For these people, the calculation of benefits is done in a slightly different way. The payment is carried out in 2 stages: the first and second stages last a year. Therefore, the total benefit is received for 2 years. The first year, its size depends on the salary at the last job. This year is divided into 3 stages:

1. For the first 3 months, a citizen will receive 75% of the previous salary.

2. Then for 4 months the benefits will be 60% of the salary.

3. Last 5 months - 45%.

Step 4

It turns out that over time, the amount of the benefit will decrease. However, in the Russian Federation, the maximum amount of unemployment benefits is set, and in 2014 it is 4,900 rubles.

Step 5

In 2015, unemployment benefits are not subject to change. And from 2016, significant changes will be made.
