Step 2
Recently, more and more modern buses are equipped with scoreboards that inform passengers about the route and stops. Displays for vehicles have a low price; their power is supplied from the on-board network of the vehicle. LED strings have a height of 40-60 mm and can be customized in length at the request of the client.

To install the scoreboard yourself, mark a place for the device in your bus (usually it is installed at the top of the partition that separates the driver's seat from the passenger compartment), measure it. Buy an electronic scoreboard from a specialized company with accessories, controller, cables and fasteners.
Step 4
Unpack your purchase carefully and check the contents of the package. Drill the required holes and install the LED panel in place using the fixing bolts and brackets according to the instructions.
Connect the light shield to the controller with a signal cable. Connect the controller to the on-board power system according to the wiring diagram of the board.
Step 5
Connect the LED string to a computer or laptop using a special USB cable (included in the delivery set) via the COM port. Write down the required information. After recording, the information is saved in the flash memory of the scoreboard, so the USB cable can be disconnected.

Usually, the delivery set of electronic displays for vehicles includes software, which allows downloading information through additional devices: a Memory iButton information transfer device (like an intercom key) and a system for downloading information by transferring data via IR communication. the key through the programmer and transferred to the display by touching the connector.
