It is necessary
Passport, card service agreement, bank card, marriage certificate
Instructions
Step 1
Each bank card, on the front side, has its expiration date. If the card has expired, you will not be able to perform operations on the card, as it is automatically blocked. Banks in advance, before the expiration of the card, issue a new plastic card to replace the old one.
Step 2
In order to get a new card, you need to contact the branch of the bank that issued the old card to you. The client must present his passport, service contract and the card itself. Previously, old cards were withdrawn for destruction. Now they just issue a new card. The old card can be presented at the request of the client, as well as the contract for servicing the card account.
Step 3
The teller will give you a new card, an envelope with a pin code, and ask you to sign the receipt. The card account and the details for transferring to the card account remain the same, so if the card received monthly salary or pension, it will be transferred to the new card as well, there is no need to worry about this.
Step 4
The card has to be changed before its expiration date due to loss, theft or damage. To do this, you need to call the bank on a free round-the-clock line and block the card. To prevent fraudsters from using it.
Step 5
After that, visit the branch of the bank that issued the card, write all the necessary applications. If you find the card yourself, write a statement about unblocking the card, if not, write statements about the theft, loss or damage of the card and about the re-issue of the card. Depending on the tariff plan of your card, these bank services may be paid.
Step 6
You will receive a new card within two to three weeks, the bank employees will inform you about the terms. At this time, you can withdraw money from the account in the very branch of the bank. To do this, you will be asked to present your passport and write an application for issuing funds without presenting a card.
Step 7
If you are late in receiving your card, call the bank or visit your branch of the bank that issued the card and find out what you need to do to change your card. Usually a new card is waiting for you at the bank branch. If you do not apply for a card for a very long time, it may be sent for destruction. Some banks call their customers to remind them that it's time to get a new card.
Step 8
Each client of the bank, upon concluding any agreement with the bank, is obliged to inform the bank about any changes in his personal data. If you change your surname, you must come to the bank with a new passport and marriage certificate. Write two statements: about reissuing the card and about changing personal data.
Step 9
If you change your place of residence, inform the bank about it. The bankers will give you options on how to proceed. If there are branches of your bank at the new place of residence, you may be offered to write an application for sending a new card to your new place of residence. Open a new card account at your new place of residence, and close the old one when it is convenient for you.
Step 10
If you do not have branches of this bank in your new place, then it is better to terminate the card service agreement and open a card account at a new place of residence in any other bank. If you received any monthly receipts on this card, please inform this organization with your new details.
Step 11
You cannot receive a card of a relative or acquaintance by power of attorney. The card can be received and used only by the owner himself. Powers of attorney issued by a notary to change or receive someone else's card are illegal.
