The shop window is its business card. It is on mannequins, stylishly dressed in accordance with the seasonal fashion requirements, that potential buyers pay attention. And then they turn into permanent ones, which brings the company a solid income. It is necessary to dress the mannequin in such a way that no person passes by the entrance to the store.
It is necessary
- - a mannequin;
- - the concept of the campaign;
- - rules for the design of mannequins;
- - clothes;
- - steamer;
- - iron.
Instructions
Step 1
Study carefully the concept of the firm for the current campaign. There must be indicated the main colors, styles and models that can be used for the correct design of the mannequin.
Step 2
Follow the principle of layering when choosing a set of clothes. First of all, this applies to mannequins, the design of which takes place in a casual style. Layering means that you will pick up not just a T-shirt and trousers, but also a cardigan, leggings, accessories.
Step 3
When choosing, pay attention to the matching of colors in clothes. Follow the prompts in your company's concept book. If this book is not available, flip through fashion magazines (eg Glamor, Cosmopolitan, ELLE), carefully examining the picking options and colors of the season. Basically, stick to the rule of "no more than three colors in one set."
Step 4
Consider shoes for your mannequin. The foot and ankle always look small, but buy shoes in sizes 39-40. The mannequin's leg is immobile, so putting on the shoes will be difficult. In some cases, you can neatly cut the sidewalls (or along the heel line). Shoes are mainly selected for mannequins, the holes for which are fastened in the calf of the doll. For other models, you will need to make a hole in the outsole. If there are no contradictions in the concept, leave the mannequin barefoot (especially typical for the demonstration of swimwear and underwear).
Step 5
Steam off the matched set, iron all the necessary folds. All wrinkles and defects of clothing are very noticeable on the mannequin, so try to make it look perfect.
Step 6
Disassemble the mannequin. Wear it starting from the lower part of the body (pants, leggings, tights, etc.). Attach it to a pedestal. Place your torso on top without inserting your arms. Put on a T-shirt, blouse, cardigan (sweater, jacket, etc.), place the sleeves one inside the other. Put your hands through the throat of your garment. Attach your palms to your wrists. Decorate all the folds, decorate with selected accessories.
