The leading place in the food industry is occupied by the bakery industry. And this is no coincidence, because bread is a basic commodity and is always in demand. Despite the fact that large enterprises occupy a large share of the bread market, a mini-bakery can also conquer a part of it. After all, its undoubted advantage is the freshness of the bread, which can be sold in nearby stores, as well as the ability to manufacture small-piece and exclusive products.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to open a bread baking business, you first need to find a suitable premises. Requirements for it are established by the SES rules, the main of which is the need to separate "clean" and "dirty" production flows. Remember that according to experts' estimates, an area of at least 150-200 square meters is required for the production of 1 ton of bakery products. When choosing a room, take into account its location. It would be good if it would be a point with high traffic of people, located, for example, near a metro, train station, airport or in a densely populated residential area.
Step 2
After you select the premises, you need to get the "Sanitary and Epidemiological Conclusion for Production". In SES, you also need to certify the range of products. In addition, you will need to obtain permits from the fire and environmental authorities. At the very beginning of your work, register as an individual entrepreneur, purchase and register a cash register with the tax office.
Step 3
Purchase equipment. To open a bakery, you will need a convection oven, a proofing cabinet, a hot display case, a kneading machine, stainless steel trays, a chest freezer if you plan to use frozen semi-finished products in production. You will also need transport for the delivery of bread.
Step 4
Enter into contracts with suppliers for the purchase of raw materials. As a rule, the assortment begins to form from 4-5 types of products and gradually expands. The recipes and requirements of potential buyers must be taken care of in advance.
Step 5
Hire staff. Invite professional technologists to install and start up the equipment. In the future, the bakery can be serviced by four people, working two per shift. In addition, you will need an accountant, driver, and director who can initially act as a sales manager.
