Making soap can be a great way to generate income. For the sale of hand soap, a declaration of conformity is required. Obtaining a certificate is voluntary.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the certification body where your soap factory is registered. There you will receive a complete list of documents required for confirming compliance with hand soap and issuing a certificate.
Step 2
Submit your application to this certification body (chemical certification department). Only an officially registered person can apply for a certificate: an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity.
Step 3
Submit all required documents to the certifying authority, usually these include:
- application;
- technical condition for the manufacture of hand soap;
- declaration of conformity;
- sanitary and epidemiological conclusion;
- certificate of registration with the tax service;
- TIN;
- statistics codes;
- OGRN;
- a document allowing the use of production facilities (lease agreement or certificate of ownership);
- certificates for the components used in the manufacture;
- a complete package of documents about your company.
Step 4
Order the development of a technical specification in a specialized company. It is guaranteed to draw up a technical specification for the production of hand soap in accordance with all applicable standards in the industry.
Step 5
Apply for a soap making permit. The manufacturer must have the appropriate areas of the production plan, since a private apartment or house has nothing to do with production facilities. If the necessary premises are available, and upon successful passing of the inspection by the sanitary authorities (Rospotrebnadzor at the place of registration of the soap factory), a production permit is issued.
Step 6
Receive a declaration of conformity. It will be issued if your product has successfully passed all laboratory tests and has the necessary documents for its manufacture. It will need to be attached to the documents for obtaining the certificate.
Step 7
Obtain a certificate of conformity for hand soap in 10-15 business days after your application is accepted for execution.
