Step 1
If you plan to transfer all employees or a specific group from fixed wage payments to work from production, determine the average number of products for one or a group of people who produce the same product, on the same equipment and have equivalent qualifications.
Step 2
For the calculation, you can use indicators of labor productivity for one, three, six or twelve months. The most accurate results in determining the average output are achieved when carrying out a long analysis for one year.
Step 3
Add up the number of products that one worker made in 12 months, divide by the number of hours spent on production. The result will be equal to the average output for one hour. You can multiply it by the number of hours in a work shift to get the average number, which will be the rate of output per employee. If you multiply this result by the number of work shifts per month, it will help you determine the average monthly output.
Step 4
To determine the average output when working with the brigade method, add up the result of the output for one year by a group of people with the same qualifications, category and working on the same equipment.
Step 5
Divide the resulting figure by the number of working hours in the billing period and by the number of personnel involved in the production of products. You will get an average output in one hour. When multiplied by the number of working hours in a shift, you get the average daily output, by the number of hours in a month - the average monthly output.
Step 6
The calculation made according to the overall result of a team of employees over a long period of work is the most accurate, since labor productivity for different team members can vary significantly. In the transition from wages to production, everyone will receive exactly as much as they invest in the production of products.
