The health of Russians is deteriorating from year to year, and as a result, an increasing number of pharmacies appear, designed to satisfy the needs of customers. But the procedure for opening your own pharmaceutical business is becoming more and more complicated every year.
Instructions
Step 1
All pharmacies are divided into ordinary ones, which only sell medicines, and specialized ones, whose competence includes the manufacture of drugs and their dispensing at fixed prices. The types of services, the list of requirements for the organization and the list of drugs allowed for sale for these two types of pharmacies differ significantly.
Step 2
The greatest profit is brought by those pharmacies that are able to pay off in the first six to eight months of operation. It is very important that a regular point of sale of medicines can only be a structural subdivision of a specialized pharmacy. This means that first you will have to deal with the organization of a more complex type of pharmaceutical services, which usually pays off in one and a half to two years.
Step 3
To open your own pharmacy, you will need a room with an area of at least 100 square meters, where you need to locate production, administrative and sanitary premises that must meet all the necessary conditions and requirements.
Step 4
When repairing a room, you need to use special technologies, the cost of which reaches 10-15 thousand dollars, excluding design delights. In addition, you will need funds for the initial purchase of goods, payment of salaries to employees, paperwork, and so on. When hiring workers, it is important to remember that in leadership positions there should be pharmacists who have been working in the specialty for at least three years. The head of a pharmacy is a special position, in his competence is to control the assortment of your institution, so the candidate for this vacancy must be selected especially carefully.
Step 5
Don't expect your pharmacy to be profitable right away. It is important that it is located in a "running" place, for example, at a public transport stop. If your pharmaceutical business involves the production of pharmaceuticals, the location will not be so important.
