If you have a card, you can view your account balance at an ATM. If Internet banking is connected to the account (many credit organizations do this by default and free of charge), regardless of the presence of the card, the available balance can be seen after authorization in the system.
It is necessary
- - bank card (if available) and ATM;
- - a computer with Internet access.
Instructions
Step 1
To see the balance of an account at an ATM, insert a card into it, enter the PIN-code and select the "Account balance" option from the menu on the screen or another with a similar meaning.
Most often, the ATM will offer a choice of whether to display the amount on the screen or to a check. Some of them print a check right away. The device may then ask if you would like to continue working. There are some that return the card immediately, and if you want to make another operation, you will have to reinsert the card and enter the PIN. It is also possible to request a code before each new operation.
In most cases, checking the balance in your bank's device is free. Third parties can often incur a commission.
Step 2
If you want to check the account via Internet banking, open its page (this may be a separate site with its own domain, but more often the transition is carried out via a link from the bank's website to its subdomain) and enter the necessary data in the authorization form: login, password, and upon request, a variable code or a password sent by SMS, if this is provided for by the bank's security standards.
Step 3
In many banks, account numbers and the balance on each are visible immediately after successful authorization in the system. However, you may often need to navigate to the appropriate interface tab. There are also cases when, in order to find out the balance of an account of interest, you need to click on its number or the link next to it.
