A grant is a form of support for a project, the ideas of which are developed and implemented by the author of the project. This type of support implies the participation of the author's personal capital, i.e. does not provide 100% funding for the project. There are different types of international grants, but there are a number of points that must be followed in order to win them.
Instructions
Step 1
First, make sure your company meets the criteria for this round of applications. No matter how well written your application is, a grant will not be awarded if your company or institution does not meet the stated requirements.
Step 2
Be clear about the title of the application. Do not try to hit the commission with loud and catchy names or an abundance of terms, you may be considered incapable of clearly articulating thoughts. The title should reflect the essence of the project as accurately as possible, the maximum number of words is ten.
Step 3
When filling out the application form, pay attention to the fact that the goals and objectives of your project should be clear and simple, but at the same time fully disclose the essence of the issue. The main task is to find a balance between brevity and completeness of presentation. When writing the goal and objectives of the project, it is necessary to describe the preliminary results, if they already exist.
Step 4
Pay attention to the application field such as the methodology. In it, you must clearly and understandably describe the methods by which you will solve the assigned tasks, as well as their applicability to this field of study.
Step 5
The project must have a result that will be tangible after its completion. It is not superfluous to indicate the forms of lighting of the project, as well as the visible results that will appear at the end of it. It will also be useful to indicate that your idea is a continuation of a government initiative or development program. Look at both regional and federal development programs to reinforce the weight and significance of your project.
Step 6
Prepare your project in advance. Consider force majeure. Many circumstances can prevent the successful submission of the application - lack of a signature, computer breakdown, or just a typo. In very rare cases, an appeal is allowed, in the vast majority you will only have one chance to apply.
