Sometimes a long-awaited purchase can be a complete disappointment for us, if at home, upon a detailed examination, you find a clear defect on the jacket, the dress turns out to be one size larger, and the shoes are completely disliked. How do you return all these things back to the store and get the money spent? Let's try to find out.
Instructions
Step 1
Remember that according to the law, each buyer has the right to return the goods back within two weeks, without explaining the reason. It is possible to do this even if you have lost your receipt and there is no packaging. The main thing is that the purchased item has a presentation.
Step 2
If you find a defect on the purchase, then you can safely demand its replacement or a refund. In some cases, it is impossible to do without an examination. By law, it must be carried out by the seller at his own expense. Do not forget when transferring the goods in the acceptance certificate to indicate all your claims to its appearance - scratches, chips, cracks.
Step 3
It will be possible to hand over the purchase on a general basis from the sale, although in many stores you can find inscriptions where it is indicated that things from sales are not accepted back. But here, too, the client will be right - there are no restrictions here. At the same time, you need to be aware that such rules do not apply to discounted goods that are sold at a reduced price due to defects. You can return such a thing only if you find another flaw that you were not warned about.
Step 4
The good news for buyers is that recently, virtual stores are subject to the same rules. Changes have been made to the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", which stipulate the possibility of returning goods purchased in an online store. As experts advise, if you cannot find the address of a virtual store, you can contact the tax office. In this case, the right to return the purchase increases to three months.
Step 5
But there are products that you cannot return or exchange. These include: personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, combs, hairpins), perfumes and cosmetics, underwear, hosiery, household chemicals, medicines, weapons, animals and plants, as well as books, brochures, albums, calendars, booklets.
