Sometimes it is more convenient to pay for goods and services with a plastic card than in cash. To make transactions, the account must have a positive balance. Transferring money to your (or someone else's) plastic card is quite simple.
Instructions
Step 1
Through a bank branch
Contact the nearest bank branch to the department dealing with work with bank cards, show the operator an identity document (passport), tell the number of your card, enter the required amount of money, take the document confirming the operation. If you do not yet know the number of your plastic card (if you ordered it, but the card is not yet ready), transfer money to your personal account. Details for transferring money are indicated in the printout of the bank, which is issued when filling out an application for issuing a plastic card. The personal account number is also recorded in the application itself, a copy of which you should receive.
Step 2
Self-service devices
Make sure the selected self-checkout device supports cash-in. Depending on the type of device, the steps for depositing funds to a plastic card may differ. Insert the card into the self-service device, select the option "Deposit cash" or "Top up the account" and follow the further instructions, deposit the required amount, take the check. To transfer funds from one card to another, you do not need a bill acceptor, use a simple ATM for this.
Step 3
Internet banking
If you want to replenish the card account from your bank deposit or from the account of your other plastic card, enter your personal account on the website of your bank, select the "Transfer to card" operation. Enter the number of the card from which the money is debited (or the number of the account for the deposit), indicate the number of the card to which they should be credited, indicate the amount of the transferred amount. Confirm the operation. Transferring money to your plastic card is also possible from Internet wallets. Select the "Withdraw funds" operation. Follow the step-by-step instructions on the official website of the payment system where your internet wallet is located. Remember that some services charge a commission for such transactions.
