The regulation of small businesses in Belarus and Russia is similar, but getting the status of an individual entrepreneur in Belarus and starting an activity is somewhat more difficult. To do this, you need to register with the relevant government agencies, obtain an activity license, if necessary, register prices for your goods or services, and make a seal.

Instructions
Step 1
To become an individual entrepreneur in Belarus, first of all, you need to register as such with the relevant authorities (regional executive committee, state executive committee or administration - depending on the municipal unit). For registration, you must provide the following package of documents:
1. application (indicating the types of activities according to the classifier of activities);
2. a questionnaire (it can be taken from the registration authority itself);
3. work book (if any);
4. a photograph;
5. receipt of payment of state duty.
After registration, the entrepreneur must register with the tax office at the place of residence by submitting an application. Within 10 days, the tax office assigns a taxpayer registration number and issues a document confirming this.
Step 2
It is important to find out if the activity you want to carry out is subject to licensing. The types of licensed activities are listed in the "Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Belarus of 21.08.1995 No. 456". To obtain a license, you must write an application and pay the appropriate fee. The term for issuing a license is 30 days.
Step 3
After registration, you need to open a bank account. The entrepreneur himself chooses the bank in which he wants to open an account. To do this, you will need the following documents:
1. statement;
2. copy of the registration document;
3. a duplicate of the document on the assignment of a taxpayer account number;
4. a card of signatures of officials.
Step 4
Within 15 days from the date of registration, an individual entrepreneur should register with the Social Protection Fund. Also, at this time, you need to obtain permission from the regional department of internal affairs to print an individual entrepreneur. To obtain such permission, the following documents are provided:
1. statement;
2. copy of the registration document;
3. sketches of the seals, certified by the registration authority.
