Step 1

Describe and classify the equipment. This work is the most difficult and time consuming. It takes time and considerable effort, since it is due to the fact that it is quite difficult to use the existing databases, for example, the accounting accounts for fixed assets, since they were compiled according to completely different principles, i.e. there is no description hierarchy, no binding to technical locations, etc.

Step 2

Inspect the equipment "live", although this leads to an increase in time. It is necessary to do this, since during the reconstruction and modernization, its technological scheme, device, etc. changed. Such changes did not always fit into the technical documentation and equipment passport, or they are lost. Thus, in practice, it is not enough to use only technological documentation and equipment certificates. The only way to solve this problem is to combine in time the description of the equipment and its overhaul.

Step 3

Determine the equipment hierarchy, i.e. divide it into main, auxiliary, etc. The uppermost stage must correspond to technological objects (elements of the technological chain) that manufacture products. This is followed by individual pieces of equipment, and then the units and assemblies of which they consist.

Step 4

Determine the physical wear and tear of the equipment: describe and classify the equipment in the process chain of the shop; develop key indicators that characterize the state of the productive capacity of a piece of equipment; Determine the weights that are required to calculate the integral indicator of physical wear and tear of a piece of equipment (determined by expert judgment); determine the current values of the main indicators and compare them with the reference values; calculate the wear for groups of the same type of equipment (equipment on which the same products or technological operations are produced); calculate the wear of the technological chain, which is based on the data on the actual wear by groups of equipment.
