To open a branch, a company must make a number of changes to the constituent documents and notify the tax office of its decision. If she plans to hire workers for the branch, she must also register with the tax and off-budget funds at the location of the branch.

Step 1
First, you need to prepare a package of necessary documents. It includes the decision to open a branch (the founder of the company or a general meeting, if there are two or more of them, or a meeting of shareholders). In the same document, you can register the approval of the regulations on the branch (this document describes the procedure for its work and reporting) and the corresponding changes in the charter.
It is also necessary to make approved changes to the charter and prepare a copy of its new edition or several originals - depending on the procedures in a particular region (a copy is usually required in Moscow).
Step 2
Then you need to fill out a message on the opening of a branch, an application for amending the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and the necessary state fees are paid. Payments must be made from the company's current account, otherwise the tax authority will not count them (although there are exceptions).
With all these documents, you should contact the tax office serving the legal address of the head office of the company, or a special registering office.
If all the documents are in order, you need to receive a certified copy or the original of the new edition of the charter, an actual extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and other papers within five days.
Step 3
If the branch does not plan to hire employees, nothing else needs to be done. If there is a need to create stationary jobs for a period of more than a month, it will be necessary to undertake a number of gestures at the location of the branch.
First of all, to register as a taxpayer at his legal address (the issue of legal address must be resolved even before all the papers are prepared, as it is usually reflected in them).
And then - in the local offices of the Pension Fund, the Social Insurance Fund and the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, where they will make contributions for the employees of the branch.
