The 1C software company announced in 2011 that the new version will not support the configuration in edition 1.6. In this regard, it became necessary to convert the 1C database to version 2.0. How can this be done?
Instructions
Step 1
Install the latest version of the 1C platform on your personal computer. Start the software. Open the section of the list of bases. If it is empty, click "Add …". Check the box next to the item "Add an existing infobase to the list". This section allows you to create an information base in this version of 1C, which is located on this computer, on the 1C: Enterprise server or in a local network. Click Next.
Step 2
Enter a name for the base, select the location of the infobase (on this PC, in the local network, on the 1C server or on the web server). It is desirable to place the added base on this personal computer, so select this item. Click "Next".
Step 3
Select the directory where the infobase is located. Click the "Open" and "Next" button. In the window that appears, leave everything unchanged, i.e. the authentication option and startup mode are set to automatic, the connection speed is normal. Check that the latest version of 1C: Enterprise is specified. If you need to change some parameters, then click the "Back" button. After filling in all the data, click the “Finish” button.
Step 4
Run the 1C program in enterprise mode. A window will appear with an error indicating the incompatibility of the database versions and the need for conversion. Go to the 1C program in the configurator mode. A message appears warning you that you need to convert the database. Make a backup copy of the converted base and click "Yes". Wait for the conversion.
Step 5
Start 1C again in enterprise mode. If the error window did not appear, the database conversion was performed correctly. If the error popped up again, repeat the entire procedure again using a backup copy of the 1C infobase.
