In order to find out how many Belarusian rubles you can get for a certain amount in Russian currency, you need to use the information on the website of the Central Bank of Russia or calculate this amount using an online calculator.
Instructions
Step 1
Visit the official website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where you can find information about the exchange rate of the Russian ruble to the Belarusian one, set for a specific date.
Step 2
Examine the small lettering at the top left of the page. Under the symbols of the Bank of Russia you will see the inscription "Main indicators of the financial market". In this section, find the link "Currency rates", click on it.
Step 3
Pay attention to the vertical menu on the left side of the page that opens. You need the first line in it "Official exchange rates …". After clicking on it with the left mouse button, a calendar will appear, in it you need to select the date for which you are interested in the rate of the Belarusian ruble. In the table that opens, find the Belarusian ruble, it is located in the fourth line from the top. For example, as of December 1, 2011, the rate is 36.5117. Please note that the ruble rate is set in relation to 10,000 Belarusian rubles.
Step 4
Calculate the reverse rate, that is, how many Belarusian rubles can you buy for one Russian. To do this, 10,000 must be divided by 36.5117. It turns out that one Russian ruble on December 1, 2011 cost 273.88 Belarusian rubles.
Step 5
To convert any amount in Russian rubles into Belarusian currency, multiply this rate by the number of rubles. For example, 555 Russian rubles are equal to 152,006.07 Belarusian rubles.
Step 6
Use online calculators to quickly calculate the rate of any currency. To do this, enter the phrase "The rate of the Belarusian ruble to the Russian ruble" in any search engine. The calculator allows you to calculate both direct and inverse rates, where you can enter any amount and see its expression in another currency. Keep in mind that in such calculators the date is automatically set, it corresponds to the day and month when you enter the data for conversion.
