One of the most convenient tools for withdrawing cash from your current account is a plastic card attached to it. For its owners, there are two easy ways to withdraw funds: through an ATM or at any bank branch. If you don't have a debit or credit card, your only option is to contact your credit institution's cashier.
Instructions
Step 1
If you own a plastic card of one of the international payment systems (Visa, Mastercard, Dinners Club, American Express, etc.), the widest possibilities are at your service. You can use your money within the credit limit (if any) and account balance in any city in the world where there is an ATM. Go to the ATM, insert a plastic card, enter the PIN-code, select the "Withdraw (or receive) cash" operation and enter the required amount within the limits available on the current account and the cash withdrawal limit at the ATM.
Step 2
You can also withdraw money from your current account at the cash desk of the bank branch. Unlike ATMs, another credit institution will not help you. You will have to contact the office of your bank. At the same time, a small commission may be charged from you at the cash desk for issuing funds from the card - on average, 1-2 percent of the amount withdrawn.
Step 3
In some credit institutions, you may need to fill out a special form for issuing money before contacting the cashier. But more often it is enough to present the passport and plastic card to the cashier-operator and name the required amount. And then sign the documents offered by the specialist and get the money.
When withdrawing cash from a card through the bank's cash desk, you may need to specify a PIN code. The client must enter it into the device located next to the cash register window.
Step 4
If you do not have a linked card, you only have a current account in the bank, you can withdraw funds from it only at the bank's cash desk. Many credit organizations allow you to do this in any branch or office where there is a cash register. Some - only in the bank branch where the agreement for opening an account was concluded, sometimes also in the branches closest to it.
Step 5
The set of documents that must be presented to the cashier depends on the bank's policy. If the client is issued a document reflecting the flow of funds on the account (for example, a savings bank known to many since Soviet times), it must be presented along with a passport. In other cases, only a passport is required. Go to the checkout (if necessary, wait for your turn, electronic or live, depending on the branch), give the documents to the specialist, name the desired amount, sign and receive the money.
Step 6
Most credit institutions give clients the opportunity to manage their own accounts through the Internet banking system. In this case, if the plastic card is not tied to the account, you can use the online office to transfer money from it to your card in the same or another bank and withdraw cash from it.
