Any citizen of the Russian Federation is obliged to pay tax fees. Most of them are paid for by the taxpayer by the organization where the labor activity takes place. But there are several types of taxes (transport, property, land), which everyone is obliged to pay independently. To avoid the accumulation of fines, you should periodically check your tax arrears.

How to find out about paying taxes

It is necessary

  • - passport;
  • - TIN certificate;
  • - receipt for payment of tax

Instructions

Step 1

In order to find out the debts on taxes and fees via the Internet, it is enough to go to the website of the Federal Tax Service, enter your details in the appropriate fields, namely: TIN, last name, first name, patronymic and region (mostly set automatically when you enter the TIN). Next, a window should appear in which the name of the tax debt and the amount, if any, will be displayed. In the same window, you can put a tick on the formation of receipts for payment and after confirmation, the generated receipts for payment of tax arrears will appear on the screen. Then they can be printed out and paid through an ATM, a bank employee or through a post office. The TIN is provided once in a lifetime, in case of damage or loss, you must order a re-certificate at the tax office at your place of residence or leave an application through your personal account on the website of the tax service of the Russian Federation.

Step 2

Also, in order to find out about tax arrears, you can contact the tax office at your place of residence. The operator will look at your debt and provide a printout of receipts for payment. To obtain this information, you must provide a passport and TIN number. This option is probably not very convenient, because there can be long queues at the tax office, especially when filing tax returns or other types of reporting.

Step 3

In addition to the above possibilities, there is, perhaps, not the most reliable, but the easiest way. Each taxpayer in a certain period by mail in the form of letters must receive notifications of tax arrears with receipts attached to them for payment of arrears. This method is convenient, but it does not provide a 100% guarantee for timely information on tax debts, because written notices may arrive late or get lost in the mail. This is extremely rare, but this possibility cannot be ruled out.
