The creation of a car wash in modern conditions is a rather significant investment project that requires from an entrepreneur not only serious investments, but also excellent organizational skills. There are two main reasons for this - the need to build a sink almost from scratch and a long chain of mandatory approvals.
It is necessary
- - a plot of land with an area of 200 meters;
- - car wash project, agreed in four instances;
- - a set of manual equipment or a stationary gantry wash;
- - stock of household chemicals;
- - staff (several brigades of washers and an administrator).
Instructions
Step 1
Rent a plot of land that is large enough to build and equip a car wash on it. It will take several hundred square meters (minimum 200), which can be rented either from the municipality or from a private owner. The second option, as a rule, turns out to be cheaper, although in some regions the administration may encourage the development of small and medium-sized businesses and lease land at more or less “democratic” prices.
Step 2
Draw up a car wash project, with the approval of which a long-term interaction with various authorities and licensing organizations will begin. The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the fire inspection and the local environmental service should give their "go-ahead" to the launch of your project.
Step 3
In the car wash building, there must be a structurally allocated room for the car wash itself and a waiting room for customers, there must be a treatment plant and a connection to water supply, heating and electricity.
Step 4
Choose the type of equipment for your future enterprise, and with it - the type of the car wash itself. It can be either a manual car wash or an automated gantry car wash. Both types have their strengths and weaknesses - gantry washing technologies cost several times more, but such a project can pay off faster, since it allows servicing a much larger number of cars in the same period of time.
Step 5
Advertise open vacancies and select several washers and a car wash administrator to work. The number of personnel involved in your enterprise depends on its throughput - automatic washes are serviced by two people, while manual washes are operated by three to seven people at a time. The salary of the staff at the car washes is piece-work and depends on the output - both the washers and the administrator receive a percentage.
