The concept of pension capital was introduced immediately after the 2002 pension reform. It reflects the pension rights of a citizen in monetary terms, that is, his seniority and earnings are converted into cash. Thus, each citizen will have their own pension capital by the time they receive their pension.

It is necessary

  • - the amount of insurance contributions to the Pension Fund;
  • - calculator;
  • - a pen;
  • - paper.

Instructions

Step 1

The value of the pension capital is a sum of several values: the first part of the pension capital presented as of January 1, two thousand and two, and the valorization amount. The first two values are added to the amount of insurance contributions to the Pension Fund, starting from January 1, two thousand and two. The first part of the pension capital is the difference between the calculated size of the labor pension and the size of the basic part of the pension, which is established by the legislation of the Russian Federation and is 450 rubles multiplied by two hundred twenty eight months. In order to calculate the estimated size of the retirement pension, multiply your average monthly earnings for any sixty months of work by the seniority ratio, which, if you have less than twenty years of experience, is 0.55 and increases by 0.01 for each year in excess of the indicated seniority figure.

Step 2

In order to find out the size of the first part of the pension capital, subtract four hundred and fifty rubles from the resulting calculated size of the labor pension (the basic part of the pension established by the legislation of the Russian Federation in 2002). Multiply the resulting difference by two hundred and twenty-eight months (this is the average duration of pension payments, according to the calculations of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation).

Step 3

Calculate the amount of valorization. To do this, in order to find out how many rubles is ten percent of the value of the first part of the pension capital, multiply this value by 0, 1. Add to the resulting value one percent of the sum of the first part of the pension capital for each year of service until January 1, 1991.

Step 4

Add the resulting valorization value with the amount of insurance contributions to the Pension Fund and add the value of the first part of the pension capital to the resulting figure. The result will be the required amount of pension capital.
