Step 1

The Credit Guarantee Agency is a non-bank depository and credit organization established by the official order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 5, 2014 No. 740-r. The creation of the organization was due to the need for small and medium-sized businesses in Russia to receive additional funds for their own development. The start of the work of the "Agency" was given at the end of July of the same year by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Yelin.

The organization is a Federal Guarantee Fund and provides counter-guarantees to various regional organizations for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises. In case of exceeding the size of the loan, the possibilities of regional guarantee agencies "Agency" provides the subjects with direct guarantees. The primary tasks of the Agency were the creation of a unified information system based on regional guaranteeing organizations, as well as monitoring, coordination and increasing the efficiency of their activities.

Step 3

The Credit Guarantee Agency has a statutory fund of 50 billion rubles. Its only founder and shareholder is the Federal Agency for State Property Management of the Russian Federation. The "agency" is under the authority of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and the chairman of the board of the organization is Galina Zotova.

Step 4

The organization has quite ambitious plans. By 2019, the Agency plans to issue guarantees for loans to small and medium-sized enterprises for only 350 billion rubles. Taking into account the regional guarantee funds, this amount can reach 580 billion rubles. At the same time, in 2014 it is planned to issue guarantees for 51, 2 billion rubles or 180 billion, taking into account regional funds.

Step 5

Thus, the "Credit Guarantee Agency" will expand the capabilities of small and medium-sized businesses by providing them with long-term loans for their own development. This will allow banking strictures to improve current lending conditions. As a result, a new national system of guarantee organizations will be formed, aimed at increasing the various economic factors of the country, increasing the real income of citizens and creating 25 million jobs with high productivity by 2020.
