For the vastness of our country, guerrilla marketing is something unprecedented to this day. There is very little information about this type of marketing, and even more so in Russian. Let's try to open this "veil" a little.

Guerrilla marketing is primarily an advertising and marketing campaign with a very small budget. At the same time, the effectiveness of these measures has already been proven; indeed, the companies that used such marketing successfully promoted their products on the market and were able to increase their profits at the lowest cost.

Guerrilla marketing can even be found in ancient Greek manuscripts. The name is taken from military affairs and fully reflects the essence, that is, at the smallest cost, like partisan units, the company promotes its goods or services. Most of all such marketing is used in small companies that cannot afford the high costs of promotion.

In the beginning, guerrilla marketing relied solely on printing and distributing free business cards, brochures, or postcards. Over time, the tools began to expand, and free articles in specialized publications began to be classified as this type of marketing. Companies began to participate in specialized events or public gatherings. Companies also began to actively use partnerships in business.

With the development of computer technology, the methods of guerrilla marketing have greatly expanded, now it is "viral" and "shocking" marketing and so on.

Most importantly, guerrilla marketing involves attracting new customers with minimal financial costs. Also, there is one more feature, the company, adopting guerrilla marketing, refuses to use traditional methods of promotion, that is, it does not advertise itself in the media, does not use street banners, banners, and so on. Perhaps the use of low-cost advertising media, or non-traditional advertising, such as on a cake box, might be advertising a flower delivery company.

A distinctive feature of guerrilla marketing is that it gives the first results almost immediately, or after a short period of time. And this is very important for small companies. The next advantage is that all the company's actions to advertise its products and services are practically invisible to competitors, and, therefore, no one will copy them. In addition, a competitor will not be able to "crush" you with his huge advertising budget.

And most importantly, guerrilla marketing can be used by any company, both with millions of turnovers and the smallest one. For large companies, this is a great opportunity to get through to those customers who are no longer valid "standard" advertising.
