Step 1
Think about how you will conduct your home bookkeeping. To always have enough money, you need to be able to dispose of it correctly. This will help home bookkeeping. However, in this case, you need to understand that you will have to enter all income and expenses in the table on a daily basis, since if you do not do this, all work will be ruined. Home bookkeeping can be paper or electronic. In the first case, a common notebook is used, in the second, an excel table.
Step 2
Consider all the lines of expenses and income, which, however, may subsequently be supplemented. For example, income - husband's work, wife's work, part-time work, gifts, renting out real estate, etc. Expenses can be a child, utility bills, food, clothing, training, travel expenses, a pet, etc.
Step 3
Fill the table. The first sheet is a complete description of the costs. A table is compiled - number, item of income, comments. Comments are filled at will, for example, when you want to remember what exactly you spent them on. The second sheet is a description of income. Everything is the same as with expenses. The third sheet of home accounting will be consolidated for the month, that is, on the left there are expenses, on the right - income strictly by item, all data is transferred from the first two sheets. Below is the "total" line, which is calculated at the end of the month.
Step 4
Summarize. The first results are summed up at the end of the first month of home bookkeeping. You need to see how much your income or expenses are. If expenses are more than income or a little less than them, then this is a reason to think. It is important to review your spending and correct the lines. The easiest way is to limit certain expense lines. For example, for entertainment - no more than 2,000 rubles a month. And when this figure is reached, it does not matter at the beginning of the month or at the end, such expenses will have to be abandoned until the next period. This way, your money will always be under control.
