Instructions
Step 1
Collect the package of documents that are required to receive a one-time childbirth allowance. Working citizens of the Russian Federation submit an application, a certificate and a certificate of the birth of a child in the form №24. At the same time, the second parent, if he also works, must submit a certificate from the place of work stating that he did not receive benefits.
Step 2
Apply for a one-time payment from a parent's workplace. The application must be submitted within six months of the child's birth. Payment is made no later than 10 days after the submission of all documents. In parallel with the documents for a lump sum, the parent has the right to write an application for receiving material assistance from the employer. It should be noted that if this payment exceeds 50 thousand rubles, then it is necessary to charge the income tax on the received amounts.
Step 3
Make an extract from the work book, military ID, diploma or other document that confirms the absence of work for the child's parents. This must be done if both parents are unemployed. Also, one of them needs to get a certificate from the social protection authority that he did not receive child support. Apply with these documents and an application to the RUSZN at the place of residence.
Step 4
Get a certificate from the dean's office stating that you are in full-time education and have not yet received a lump sum. This is necessary if both parents are students. You should apply to your educational institution for the payment of benefits.
Step 5
Contact the registry office at the place of registration of the child in order to obtain certificate No. 25, which justifies the entry into the birth certificate of data about the child's father. This document is required for single mothers to receive a one-time benefit.
