Step 1
Based on a certificate from the maternity hospital, the registry office issues an official birth certificate of the child and a special certificate, which will be the basis for calculating benefits. You need to make a copy of this document.
Step 2
It is required to attach a certificate from the place of work of the other parent stating that he is not a recipient of this allowance. If the second parent does not work anywhere, a similar certificate from the body for social protection of the population is attached.
Step 3
A single mother also needs to take a certificate from the registry office on the basis for entering information about the father in the child's birth certificate. If the parents are divorced, then a divorce certificate must be attached to the package of documents. In this case, a certificate from the father's place of work is not needed.
Step 4
Working women apply to their employer for a one-off childbirth benefit. Non-working women collect a package of documents, take them to the social protection authorities and write a free-form application addressed to the head of this institution.
