During pregnancy, every expectant mother is faced with the question of receiving a lump sum at the birth of a child. In fact, this is a rather difficult question, because it takes a lot of time, patience and documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Parents or their substitutes are eligible for this benefit. If two or more children are born, then the allowance is paid for each child separately.
Step 2
The amount of the allowance, the procedure for receiving it and the conditions for its assignment are regulated by the state. According to the Federal Law of May 19, 1995 No. 81-FZ "On State Benefits to Citizens with Children" (as amended on July 24, 2009 No. 213-FZ), the size of a one-time benefit at the birth of a child, as well as a lump-sum benefit when transferring a child to a family from January 1, 2010 will amount to 10988, 85 rubles. This payment is made at the expense of the resources of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation. You should apply for the allowance no later than six months after the birth of the child.
Step 3
You should apply at the place of work of the mother or father. For citizens of the Russian Federation, you must have a certificate of the birth of a child with you. If both parents work, then a certificate from the second parent's place of work should be taken stating that the allowance was not paid to him.
Step 4
Already in the social protection authorities, you should write a statement according to the established model. The employer can also provide his employee with one-time assistance. To do this, you also need to write an application and provide the necessary documents.
Step 5
The entire amount of the benefit is paid no later than 10 days after the submission of all the necessary documents.
Step 6
If both parents do not have a permanent place of work and do not study on a full-time basis, then you should contact the territorial bodies of social protection.
Step 7
You should have with you: - a statement on the purpose of the benefit (it is transferred to the Sberbank account or to the specified personal account);
- copies of the parent's identity documents;
- birth certificate of the child and its copy;
- a certificate of the birth of a child drawn up in the registry office in form No. 24 and its copy;
- extracts from work books, certifying that parents do not work;
- you should get a certificate from the territorial social protection authorities that the second parent has not yet received this benefit.
Step 8
The money is also paid within 10 days. If both parents are studying, then you should provide a certificate from the dean's office that the parent is a full-time student, an application in the prescribed form, a certificate in form No. 24, a certificate from the place of study of the second parent that he was not paid an allowance there. The allowance is paid in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Step 9
Single mothers should also include documents certifying their status.
Step 10
If a still child is born, this benefit will not be paid. But in the event of the death of a child after his registration with the registry office, the allowance is still paid.
