The universal electronic card or UEC combines the functions of identification of a citizen and a means of payment. It is to be issued free of charge to all Russians.
It is necessary
- - application for a universal electronic card (UEC);
- - passport;
- - compulsory medical insurance policy (preferably);
- - SNILS (desirable).
Instructions
Step 1
Today, the only option for obtaining UEC is provided - on the basis of an application in the personal presence of a citizen. To do this, you need to contact the card issuing point in your city. You can get acquainted with the full list of authorized organizations on the official website of OJSC "UEC".
Step 2
The operator with you must fill out an application for a UEC. You can also do it yourself. A list of the requested documents must be attached to the application.
Step 3
Next, the application reception officer must take a picture of you and issue a unique application number. It will allow you to track the readiness status of the card and will need it upon receipt. You can find out about the readiness of the card on the website of JSC "UEC" in the section "UEC-online".
Step 4
After the card is ready, it can be obtained from the employee of the issuing point. Typically, this procedure takes no more than 20 days. Usually, the points of acceptance of applications and the issuance of cards are the same. In addition to the UEC, you will receive an envelope with a PIN code.
Step 5
If you wish, you can place an electronic signature on the UEC in real time. An employee of the point of issue with you must create an EDS key and give you a copy of the key certificate for verification. This signature may be required to remotely receive various government services.
Step 6
Also, if necessary, you can activate the banking application on the UEC. To do this, you need to contact the bank that was indicated when submitting the application. The bank must be a member of the "UEC" PRO100 payment system. Today this list includes 20 organizations.
