It's easy enough to be fooled by a bank. And not only when you take out a loan, but even when you receive a salary on your card or open an account in any bank. To avoid this, it is enough to remember about the most common banking tricks.

Instructions

Step 1

Non-repayment of a loan

By making a monthly loan payment, everyone thinks that it would be more likely to pay off with the bank. In the last month, a person pays as much as it is written in his contract, forgets about a loan and boldly throws away payment receipts. However, after a couple of months (and sometimes even after one and a half or two years), they begin to persistently call from the bank and say that the loan has not been repaid and that fines and interest have already run up. Some five or ten underpaid rubles turn into several thousand.

To avoid this, make the last loan payment only at the bank office. First, ask the consultant to tell you the remaining amount (sometimes it may differ from the one prescribed in the contract by several hundred rubles). Then deposit the money and ask for a certificate that the loan has been fully repaid. All payment receipts, as well as agreements with the bank, should be kept for three years.

Step 2

Old plastic card

When deciding to change the bank and, accordingly, the plastic card, people usually throw away the old card, for example, the one to which the salary was transferred at the previous place of work. Time passes, and banks begin to demand money from you. Which ones? Everything is very simple. The bank takes a commission for servicing the account. The discarded card and non-use of the bank's services do not cancel this commission. That is, the organization continues to write off money for servicing the account, despite the fact that you do not use this account. And since there is, as a rule, not a single ruble on the card, fines and penalties run up. When the amount turns out to be more or less significant, the bank's specialists start calling the client day and night.

If you decide to refuse the services of the bank, do not be lazy to come to the office with a service agreement and a passport. Ask to close your account. To do this, you need to write a statement, and then wait for a confirmation document that the account is really closed.

Step 3

Overdraft

This type of fraud concerns the owners of debit cards, that is, those who have an overdraft (possibility of overspending). This option is beneficial for people, since you can always withdraw a thousand or two rubles for unforeseen expenses. However, few people know that overdraft interest can be very big. For example, there are 1920 rubles on the card. The person plans to withdraw the entire balance from the card, but there are no small bills in the ATM, and therefore they have to withdraw 2,000. That is, the account has minus 80 rubles, which in a couple of months the bank easily turns into minus 800.

To avoid such a situation, always be aware of the balance on your card. In some cases, you can save receipts (if the amount of the balance is written on them), in others, you can request the balance each time before withdrawing cash. The ideal option is to activate the SMS notification service. Yes, most often it is paid, but it is SMS banking that will help you not to go into the red.
