You can withdraw cash from a plastic bank card through the cashier of your bank or ATMs. The second option is convenient because there are much more ATMs than there are outlets with live cashiers, especially during non-working hours. In addition, the procedure for receiving money from an ATM does not take time to communicate with the teller.
Instructions
Step 1
To withdraw cash from an ATM, you need to have the credit card at your disposal and know its PIN. If these two preconditions are met and the ATM is found, you can proceed to the cash withdrawal procedure.
Step 2
Make sure the ATM is designed to service yours. It must have the same logo of the payment system that is depicted on your card (Eurocard / MasterCard, Cirrus / Maestro, Visa, etc.)
Step 3
Make sure it is safe to receive money. The ATM must contain information about belonging to a particular banking institution, its addresses and phone numbers in case of any failures or other problems. In addition, there should not be any additional video tracking devices near the ATM, allowing you to see the keyboard while dialing the code. And the living eyes behind your back should not be able to observe this process either.
Step 4
Insert the card into the receiver and wait for the prompt on the display. Depending on the type of ATM, the procedure may start with choosing a language, choosing the desired operation, or entering a PIN code.
Step 5
Follow the instructions on the ATM display. In this process, you will need to enter a PIN, and if you make a mistake more than three times, the card can be withdrawn by the ATM. If this happens, then you need to immediately call the customer support service of your bank, report this situation and ask to block the card. To receive the card back (or make a new one), you will need a statement stating what happened, including the coordinates and ATM affiliation.
Step 6
Select the required amount from the options offered, or click the button opposite the "Other amount" item and enter the desired value using the keyboard.
Step 7
Click the "Yes" button in response to the "Issue a receipt" question if you need one.
Step 8
Pick up the card from the ATM when it gives a sound alert. Only after that the machine will issue the money you requested. If you do not remove the card from the receiver within a few tens of seconds (from 20 to 40), the ATM will consider it forgotten and will withdraw it to its storage. He will do the same with bills that you did not extract on time.
Step 9
When receiving money at a cash pick-up point, the procedure will be similar - the clerk will ask you to enter your PIN and indicate the amount. In addition, you will need to present an identity document.
