A patent is a document that confirms that a foreign citizen is allowed to work on the territory of the Russian Federation. The maximum one-time period for issuing such a document is one year, this is done in the migration service, and it is valid only in the region where the patent was issued. By itself, a patent does not give a foreign citizen any preferences that are associated with commercial activities, it only allows you to work on a legal basis. The patent is considered valid only after payment. How can you pay for it using Sberbank Online?
The Russian state, seeking to reduce the burden on foreign citizens who work in the country, allows paying for the patent in parts: monthly or 3 months at a time. In addition, the payment service has been added to ATMs and terminals, and you can also use it online through the Sberbank application.
However, before using the application, the Sberbank Online service will have to be activated. And to do this, you need:
- go to the nearest branch of Sberbank, get a questionnaire and fill it out - this will activate the service;
- then you will need to enter your personal account on the Sberbank Online website to confirm the entered registration data and link a mobile phone number.
After that, the service can be used completely freely. In addition, Sberbank Online will make it possible to pay for purchases in online stores, pay utility bills, make regular payments on loans and control the balance of debt, make money transfers between your own cards and third parties, and even take loans. But all the features of the application can be explored by reading the instructions on the Sberbank website.
And to pay for a patent through this application, you need to do the following:
- Log in to your personal account, for which you will need to confirm authorization using SMS protection. By the way, this can be done not only from a phone, but also from a laptop or tablet.
- In the main menu, you need to open the "Transfers and Payments" tab, and from the listed number of items select "Traffic police and taxes", and in this section, go to the tab with the Federal Tax Service. And it should be remembered that payment for a patent is made only to a specific regional office, but in no case to the head inspection center.
- In the window that opens, you need to go to paying for the patent by clicking on the line with the appropriate name, after which the system will redirect the user to the payment form.
- Being in the deposit with the payment form, you need to select the inspection body in the desired region and click on the continue button.
- Next, you will need to enter personal information: the full name of the patent owner and the data required by the Federal Tax Service for identification - TIN and OKTMO. If a foreign citizen does not know his TIN, then he can clarify it with the Federal Tax Service of the region where he lives. In addition, the TIN is often registered on the patent itself, or the migration service sends its number in SMS. OKTMO is also specified in the Federal Tax Service.
- In the same section with personal information, you will need to select the card from which the funds will be debited. It must be remembered that in this case only a debit card is suitable, and it will not be possible to pay for a patent with corporate or credit cards.
- Before clicking on the payment confirmation button, the user will be prompted to carefully double-check the data again, which should be done. If everything is entered correctly, the payment should be confirmed, and then the code should be entered, which will come to the phone within a couple of minutes.
And don't forget to print the check after completing the payment. Such a check is a confirming payment document, no different from similar ones, but issued at a bank or ATM. No seals should be affixed to it.
