Instructions

Step 1

Look, what does a pension according to the law still consist of. It consists of three parts: basic, insurance and funded.

Step 2

Understand the constituent parts of a pension. The basic part does not depend on earnings for the entire life period, or on the length of service. According to the law, the base part is 450 rubles, but taking into account the indexation, which occurs quite often, in 2011 this part is equal to 598 rubles. An increased payment of the basic part is possible when disabled people reach 80 years of age and at the same time have a dependent on a disabled family member.

Step 3

Check out the insurance part. As for it, it is formed from all charges from the date of registration in the Pension Fund and is divided by the entire remaining period of life. This period is usually taken as an average, for 2011 it is 14 years and increases every year. There is a little trick, if you work even after reaching retirement age, then the survival period will be shorter, and, therefore, the pension will be longer.

Step 4

Find out what the cumulative part is. The funded part, like the insurance part, consists of pension savings, which also include a part of the insurance premiums, divided by the period of survival. The main difference between the funded part and the insurance part is that various financial transactions can be carried out with it. For example, you can invest it in a company and upon retirement, in cash it will already be much more than it was. But the funds can be entrusted only to those firms that have passed the competitive selection of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Step 5

Calculate approximately your future pension, and in accordance with whether it suits you, take further action. For example, place the funded part of your future pension in companies verified by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in order to increase its size.
