Trouble comes unexpectedly, and there are situations when there is simply nowhere to run and there is no money either. Neither relatives nor acquaintances want to know about other people's problems, but where to turn for financial help, if not to relatives? There is an answer.
It is necessary
- - a copy of any document proving your identity;
- - indicate the composition of the family at the moment (reference);
- - a document confirming the right to receive material assistance;
- - documents / certificates on the income of each of the family members;
- - a certificate from the employment service, since for disabled citizens, it is necessary to officially have the status of an unemployed;
- - documents on housing conditions (inspection / survey report).
Instructions
Step 1
Contact your local Social Security Service as this is where you can get help. Material support is given to persons who find themselves in, definitely, difficult life situations. It can be provided both in cash and in the form of essentials. As a rule, you can apply for financial assistance only once a year.
In the form of allocating funds, assistance is provided in the following situations:
- fires, when housing and property were destroyed or damaged;
- spouses, children, as well as parents whose military relatives have died;
- disabled citizens released from the place of imprisonment;
- low-income and single people, as well as disabled citizens from low-income families;
- during a funeral. Those who did not work, at the same time, are not retired, or at the birth of a deceased child.
In-kind material assistance (essential goods, including special-purpose vehicles):
- residents who are in a difficult life situation;
- people with disabilities and those who care for them;
Assistance in the form of allocation of funds is provided by the "Department of Social Protection", and in the form of in-kind (essential goods) - by regional state institutions, as well as unitary enterprises.
Step 2
In a social institution, write an application, indicate in detail the family members, their own and their income and property. Check if your family or someone close to you and relatives have benefits, or if you receive social assistance.
Step 3
Before contacting the Department of Social Protection, prepare all available documents that may be requested by officials. Usually, in any situation, documents on the composition of the family and a certificate from the place of residence are required. A complete list of necessary documents can be suggested by social workers, although not in every department.
Step 4
Wait for the decision on the allocation of material assistance, it must be made no later than 10 days after the appeal is made and all the necessary documents are submitted.
The payment of a one-time material assistance may not be provided if the citizen belongs to the privileged category, as well as if this year the lump-sum payment has already been made.
