You must have sales and cash receipts or other proof of payment.

The product can also be replaced with a similar one of a different size, dimensions, shape, configuration or color at the request of the buyer. If on the day of circulation a similar product is not on sale, the buyer has the right to demand a refund of the amount paid. This requirement must be satisfied within three days.

Step 2

To exchange or return a product of good quality, which is legally subject to return and exchange, you need to come to the store with this product, receipts, your passport (passport or military ID). If the check is lost, the law gives the right to refer to testimony or other proof of purchase (labels, labels), but the task of proving the fact of the transaction falls on the consumer.

Write a free-form statement addressed to the executive or CEO of the selling firm. Explain the reasons why you were not satisfied with the product. Indicate the name of the product, its cost. Date and sign.

According to Decree No. 55 of the Government of the Russian Federation of January 19, 1998, there is a list of non-food products that cannot be returned or exchanged, being serviceable and in good condition. These are household goods, technically complex, which are covered by warranty periods: household appliances, electronic household equipment, computing and duplicating household appliances, cinema and photographic equipment, electric musical instruments, household gas equipment, woodworking and metal-cutting household machines, electronic toys, facsimile equipment and telephones. Items made of precious metals, medicines, hygiene products, food products, perfumes and cosmetics, photographic paper and films, children's toys, fabrics, carpets, printed publications, audio and video discs, goods for newborns, household chemicals, animals are not subject to return and exchange. and plants and some other goods. But in the store, the sellers can meet you halfway at their discretion and replace the unsuitable product with another.
