Step 1

Make a decision at the general meeting of the founders of the company to open a representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Approve the regulation on a new separate subdivision. Select the head and chief accountant of the representative office.

Step 2

Contact a notary. Draw up a power of attorney addressed to the head of the representative office. Translate into Kazakh and notarize all documents, namely: - power of attorney; - decision of the meeting of founders to open a representative office; - copies of constituent documents of a legal entity; - Unified State Register of Legal Entities (or an extract from the trade register); - information about the address of the representative office (registration certificate of the premises, purchase and sale or lease agreement, etc.); - identity documents of managers and employees of the representative office; - TIN of the head and chief accountant.

Step 3

Submit all collected documents and an application for opening a representative office to the Public Service Center. In connection with the measures to toughen the fight against pseudo-entrepreneurship and the changes introduced on December 8, 2009 to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an application must be submitted by one of the founders of the company. Pay the state duty for the registration of the representative office to the account of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Step 4

Receive in 7 working days at the PSC the documents: - certificate of registration of the representative office; - seal; - statistical card; - certificate of a taxpayer in the Republic of Kazakhstan (RNN).

Step 5

Contact one of the banks in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which you will be served. Write a statement where you include all the information about the company and the representative office. Open an account in rubles or another currency. Get details and a banking service agreement.
