In order to avoid the consequences associated with the accrual of fines, penalties and, even worse, the imposition of restrictions on actions and movements, such as: the implementation of real estate transactions or travel abroad, you should carefully monitor and check the presence and amount of your tax debts and fees.
Instructions
Step 1
If earlier, in order to check the presence and size of your tax and levy arrears, a very inconvenient procedure, connected with bureaucratic delays, was required of contacting the nearest tax office in which you are registered as a taxpayer (that is, where you received your TIN), now everything has become simple and clear. Today, you can find out your taxes while sitting on an armchair at home, having a computer at hand and an Internet connected to it. This is helped by the recently launched official website of the Federal Tax Service or the well-known Unified Portal of Public Services, where anyone who has registered and entered the vastness of their personal account can instantly discover the charges and their grounds that require payment in the near future.
Step 2
To enter the account on the portal of state and municipal services, you must first obtain an activation code, which is sent by the operator by registered mail after entering the registration data. You can also register at the Russian Post, in which case you will be given a password to enter the portal immediately.
Step 3
Having entered the portal or the taxpayer's office of the IFTS, you can establish, among other things, the presence of your name in the "black" lists of bailiffs, this will help to avoid many inconvenient and conflict situations.
Step 4
Whether your tax is in the category of property or transportation, whether you are an individual or represent an official organization, it does not really matter. You just need to contact the nearest tax authority, taking your passport and Individual Taxpayer Number with you. Tax officials are required to provide the information you are interested in about tax obligations orally - immediately, in writing - within 10 days from the date of receipt of your application.
Step 5
If you personally contact the tax service, you can also issue a personal registration card. In the future, this card will allow you to get access to all electronic services provided by the interactive service of the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate within the framework of the program "Find out your debt". The service makes it possible not only to carry out tax charges in a timely manner, but also to carry out constant control of fiscal payments to budgetary institutions. It will help you track the relevance of information on your movable and immovable property, as well as independently monitor the process of considering an application for a social or tax deduction, if you are applying for one.
