Each taxpayer is subject to the obligations to pay mandatory payments and fees established by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. You can check the presence or absence of major tax debts for individuals, as well as find out the specific amounts to be paid using a special service on the website of the Federal Tax Service.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the official website of the Federal Tax Service. On the right side of the window, you will see an interactive field consisting of three tabs listing the names of the corresponding site services. Open the second tab and follow the link "Taxpayer's personal account".
Step 2
Confirm your consent for the introduction and transfer of personal data to the server, which will be processed and used to determine debts for property, transport, land, personal income tax.
Step 3
In the new window, fill in the proposed fields marked with "*":
• TIN (12 digits, without spaces and hyphens);
• Surname and name (patronymic - optional) in Russian letters;
• Region of residence or location of the property. You can enter up to three regions to search
Step 4
Enter the text on the verification picture and click "Find". In the search results table, if you have an outstanding debt for one of the taxes, you will see:
• Type of tax
• Name of the tax office, its address and telephones
• Type of debt (tax, penalty) and its amount
• Date of reflection of debt (updates on the site occur once a week)
Step 5
Using this service, you can also print payment documents for paying off tax debts. To do this, in the search results table, tick the required information about debts and click the "Generate" button below. You can use the received document to pay your taxes at bank branches.
