The charter is one of the main documents of any enterprise or organization. There are certain rules for its registration and storage. Often, in the process of current activities, many enterprises need to submit the charter (or rather, a copy of it) to various institutions or business partners, and the question arises of how to properly update it. The charter should be stitched according to the same rules as all other documents.

Instructions

Step 1

The charter is sewn on the left side in the center of the vertical cut line. The stitching location should not be too close to the left edge of the document to prevent the pages from tearing and scattering. At the same time, care should be taken that the firmware does not interfere with freely handling the pages of the document (flipping, making copies, and so on) and does not enter the text.

Step 2

For the firmware of the charter, as a rule, three punctures are made (less often - two punctures) at a distance of several centimeters. The stitch length should not be too short or too long. On average, a 1.5-2 centimeter distance between two punctures will be sufficient, which will generally be 3-4 centimeters from the first hole to the last.

Step 3

The holes can be made with a needle to sew the document or with a clerical awl (if there are too many pages in the charter).

Step 4

The thread must be strong. Either a special thread or an ordinary thread is used, but then it is folded several times. The line itself is laid twice for reliability. The ends of the thread are tied in a knot on the back of the document, releasing them from the center hole. The ends should not be too short, usually 6-10 centimeters long. For fidelity, the threads and knot are sometimes covered with glue to ensure the safety and integrity of the stitched pages of the charter.

Step 5

Next, a special information sticker is glued to the place of the firmware, which contains data on how many sheets are contained in the document and that they are all numbered. It should not be too wide, but at the same time, it should allow placing the necessary records on it and covering the firmware location.

Step 6

The entries made on the information sticker are certified by the seal of the company and the signature of the manager. The sticker should go over the stitching place and the free ends of the thread, or at least on the ends of the thread, but not completely cover them. The seal is placed in such a way as to go over part of the sticker, the ends of the thread and part of the charter itself.
