Any individual entrepreneur may be faced with the need to close a bank account. This may be due to the termination of business activities, with a change in the servicing bank. Closing an account is simple and takes little time. One has only to comply with some of the requirements for closing an individual entrepreneur's account in a bank.

Instructions
Step 1
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the bank account agreement can be terminated by agreement of the parties, at the initiative of the bank or the client. To close the current account, contact the bank with an application for termination of the bank account agreement. The agreement will terminate from the moment the bank receives your application.
Step 2
When closing the current account, the bank will give you the balance of the funds on the account, or transfer them to the current account of another bank specified by you. Funds or settlement documents received by the bank after the account is closed will be returned to the senders with a note that the bank account agreement has been terminated.
Step 3
After closing the bank account, report this to the tax office, the Pension Fund and the MHIF. Fill in the account closure notifications according to the approved forms. Examples of forms can be found on the official websites: www.nalog.ru, www.fss.ru, www.pfrf.ru, in the sections information for the taxpayer and information for the employer. Do not forget to inform your counterparties about the closure of the account, because the details of your account are indicated in the contracts, in order to avoid further incorrect transfers to a non-existent account.
Step 4
For late notification of the closure of the current account of the tax inspectorate, the FSS and the Pension Fund, legislation provides for liability in the form of a fine of 1000 rubles or more.
